Hello and Welcome to this course on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (D, E, & I) in the Workplace.
This course consists of a series of micromodules that will help deepen your understanding and awareness of the various aspects of D, E & I, including Basics of LGBTQIA+ Inclusion, unconscious bias(s) when hiring, how you support persons with disabilities (PwD) and how these impact the overall associate well-being, within the workplace.
As we begin this course, let’s ask ourselves the obvious question: what does the phrase Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion mean in the context of an organisation?
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion go beyond mere superficial measures; they hold genuine significance in evaluating a range of perspectives, preventing echo chambers, and presenting varied viewpoints that cater to a broader segment of the intended audience, both internally and externally.
